This medical center features a major research hospital and serves as the teaching center for
UCI’s School of Medicine. The campus includes an array of medical buildings situated on the
site to create a large public square. This space combines landscape and hardscape amenities,
and Marne Construction had the opportunity to construct the majority of the site concrete
improvements. These include concrete paving with hand-seeded stone pebbles, a collection of
concrete paving types with varying colors and textures, cast concrete retaining walls, and
concrete walls.
